11 Things

I was tagged by a YellowHeartArt and EHanDesigns for an 11 Things post you may have seen around blog land lately. I figured it would be a good thing for me to participate in because I want you guys to get to know me. :] (And this way the questions are already supplied which makes it a lot easier to talk about myself!) Although I’m going to bend the rules a little (forgive me?). Here we go!

Anything tropical. Ideal would be a tropical place I haven’t been to (enter: Fiji or Tahiti) Give me a fruity drink on a crystal clear beach and I’m set.

Well I have two Macs so I guess that makes me a Mac person. I also deal with a few PC people who like to rag on me for having Macs. All I know is that I’ve never gotten viruses on my Macs and I’ve had plenty of problems with PCs in the past.

……….my butt. Am I allowed to say my butt? :]

My favorite color is turquoise and I’ve never though about why. I guess because it is somewhere between dark and light, and can be calming but also fun at the same time.

My laptop, hardrive and camera. Would love to spring for my iMac too but it’s sort of heavy and I’d like to make it out alive (assuming this is a life or death situation!)

I am becoming more and more a morning person. I think because I get up 5 days a week for work, my body is sort of getting used to it. On the weekends sometimes I will go back to sleep but a lot of times my mind starts racing with all the things I need to do for the day so I get up to get started on them.

My career goal is to make a comfortable living while being self-employed. I want to continue doing what I am now with my blog and shop. One day I hope to be able to focus on them full-time.

I don’t have any siblings. This is something that I wanted so badly as a child (and still do) that I would make up an imaginary sibling (Older brother, Michael). It’s because of this that I don’t want to have an only child of my own.

I’m inspired by the blogs I follow. I’m inspired by the dreams I have for JAA. Now that I think about it, I have not lacked inspiration in a long time. I think my problem is that I’m actually too inspired and can’t find the time to make and do everything I want to do because of it. 

Ah, what a golden question. Jordan and I sometimes talk this over. With us being in California, my family being in Michigan, and his family being in Virginia, it’s very hard to think of where we want to live. There’s the occasional “Let’s just move to Europe” and you know, if it were that easy, we probably would.
