Our Cross-Country Move

crosscountrybuns

Hello from the East coast! If you follow me on Instagram, you were able to follow the journey of the #hotcrosscountrybuns across the country. What a journey! I really recommend everyone take that trip. There is so much to see, and so much untouched. It was pretty incredible. We are now staying into a cabin in the woods for the month of August and are actively searching for a house to settle in around D.C.

I’ve got a make-shift work space set up in our cabin, but there have definitely been challenges in getting the business back up and running. I don’t have access to all my work supplies or product as planned (we had a horrible experience with our pod company) and I can’t send or receive mail from here either. So… it’s been challenging! Things seem to be coming together more and more each day though so at least progress is being made.

There’s a LOT of stuff behind the scenes that I’m either not ready to share or not able to talk about yet. So with that in mind, as well as the somewhat random living situation we are in right now, I feel like I have been very M.I.A.! I’m really looking forward to not only finding our long-term home, but launching all the things I have been working on for the last few months. New products are coming this Fall and I really could not be more excited to share! To be the first to know about what’s next for JAA, be sure you’re on our mailing list (plus, we will send you free shit!). You can sign up here! xo JA

Congratulations on your move! I have to ask, what happened with your pod? We’re also moving across the country and I’m super nervous about the experience.
