An October Update… Wait, it’s November?

WHERE is the time going? I cannot believe it’s November and I know I’m not alone in this. The entire year completely flew by for me, and quite honestly, I’m ready to say goodbye to 2015. But not before the holiday season! I am excited for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I love the FEEL of these holidays, I find them comforting.

Although I have not had much time to blog, I thought a “monthly” update would be fun to share (and perhaps a more reachable goal for blogging in general??).

We recently made a trip to Michigan to visit my family and attend my college roommate’s wedding. It was the first time I had been home since last Christmas and I needed it so bad!

You probably know we recently took a trip to Italy with Jordan’s family. He put together an awesome video of our trip (including me freaking out over a pigeon.. but then we become friends when I give it food).

And of course, Halloween happened! We threw our annual pumpkin carving party dressed up as a girl scout and her cookie. And just have to say that I wore the actual vest from when I was a girl scout myself. TROOP 199 baby! Thanks Mom, for keeping it in the cedar chest all these years!

And among all of this I was working along on the new holiday line that just released this week! Five new holiday cards were added, plus a brand new gift wrap line!

julieannart_giftwrapI’m so excited to add gift wrap and washi tape to Julie Ann Art. Not only do I love how it turned out, but the entire process was very fulfilling. It made me realize how important it is to pursue new things, even though they can be challenging.

You can see the entire line HERE. And don’t forget to sign up for the JAA newsletter in the footer to get a 10% off coupon to use on your order!

What have YOU been up to? Ready for the holidays? Or feeling like it should be July still? :p xo JA

I love the feel of Christmas as well — I don’t love the feel of shopping with mobs of people, though. I like that you were able to wear your Girl Scout vest for your costume. I was wondering where you found all of those badges, or how you made them:)
