Hi! My name is Mae and I blog over at Two Hoots & a Holler. I am a middle school teacher taking a break from the classroom to travel with my husband (he’s a musician), write grants for a non-profit, get my doctorate in education, and adopt a wee-little one. In the middle of this whacky time-period, I’m dusting off my formerly-creative self and investing in my passion for pottery. With a kiln in my garage and a work space on my kitchen table I’m making jewelry and home goods. I hope to one day sell my pieces, but for now, I’m taking classes, learning more and more, and growing more comfortable in my “artist-self.”
